A Circular Partnership in action
Spinderihallerne, a creative hub and an early supporter of our mission, needed a unique and sustainable solution for its community spaces. They were among the first to choose the R.U.M. Chair, showcasing their commitment to a circular way of thinking. As their needs evolved, our take-back system proved to be an invaluable asset, demonstrating its flexibility and long-term value.
-
Initial Adoption: Spinderihallerne furnished its innovative environment with our durable R.U.M. Chairs, setting a precedent for a design-forward, sustainable space.
-
Expansion and Reuse: As the hub grew, Spinderihallerne required additional seating. Instead of simply buying new, they leaned on our circular model. We provided them with more R.U.M. Chairs, ensuring a consistent and sustainable aesthetic throughout the facility.
-
Repair and Longevity: Over time, the chairs experienced the wear and tear of a busy community. We collected the worn chairs and brought them back to our facility for repair. When Spinderihallerne wanted to update the aesthetic, we not only repaired them to their original quality but also changed the color of the chairs, seamlessly integrating them into a new design. When the old color chairs were disassembled, the materials were brought back to the factory for recycling, ensuring no new virgin plastics were needed and the lowest carbon footprint was kept intact. This process not only extended the life of the products but also highlighted the core principle of our take-back system: giving a new life to products and materials.
-
The Circular Advantage: This partnership with Spinderihallerne showcases how our take-back system goes beyond a single transaction. It's an ongoing commitment to our clients and to the environment, ensuring that high-quality, sustainable furniture can be part of a dynamic, evolving space without contributing to waste.
This is a powerful example of how our take-back system is a true circular business model, not just a one-time service.
