Every piece of Wehlers furniture is designed from its inception for disassembly and recycling, extending its lifespan far beyond traditional furniture. Our technical framework is based on three core principles:

Monolithic Material Streams: We minimize material complexity to ensure 100% recyclability. Our products are made primarily from single-material components, such as recycled plastic or metal, which are easy to sort and reprocess.
Disassembly by Design: We use mechanical fastenings (screws and bolts) instead of adhesives. This allows our products to be easily taken apart at the end of their life, ensuring components can be individually repaired, replaced, or recycled.
Digital Product Passports: Each product is equipped with a digital "Product Pass" accessible via a QR code. This pass contains a wealth of technical data, including material composition, manufacturing date, and our take-back guarantee, ensuring a transparent and traceable product journey.
